'09 burton custom

hi guys, i am seriously looking into a custom to start off my hopefully lengthy snowboard career ahah. I was looking into the Rome - Flag but have gone back to the custom. Im 6.2" bout 170lbs, shoes are size 11. As a starter i would want a freeride board i guess. The board im looking at is 162W....would i need a wide for size 11 or would the normal suffice..but the normal might result in toe drag? I dunno.

I am 6'1" 180lbs and ride a 156/157. I don't think you would need to go to a 162. Reason being because if you want to get into the flex of the board. You are going to be pretty light for a 162. Just a thought
