There is a point to where graphics is important though. As much as I like the look of the Burton love , I don't particularly want to be parading one of those around the mountain.
Sometimes graphics. Most the time there are a couple of options when you're choosing a board. So it makes sense that almost anytime you pick what you're going to be riding, you have a chance to make that decision based on graphic. But for me that choice is usually made more of the graphic I DON'T want to own.
I used to care a lot more about graphics than I do now. Now it's mostly performance and if it looks fresh, even better. Some boards are just too ugly and usually you can find a comparable board with a design that you can dig.
At first I did when I started..But now I dont really care about graphics it's about performance for me. Like the one thing that makes no sence to me is when someone says that they're gonna get this binding because the colors match my board blah, blah. That's just simple to me, aren't your pants gonna cover the bindings anyways?
i care a little bit about graphics or color but not much. I want Performance, best Price, then finally Praghics (Graghics)in that order. I just plaster stickers on my deck to A)personalize B)anti-theft deterrant.
i want a board with a pink unicorn farting rainbows with a caption that says I'm gay for rainbows on it! But alas no one makes decks like that anymore.
i spray paint the top sheet of mine black most of the time anyways ... once I painted my first edition banana red on the nose and green on the tail to make a rasta banana as a joke ( im the only one in my crew that doesnt smoke weed ) but eventually went black on it too ... :dunno:
Hell no I dont care as long as it's got the specs and rides how I want it to
