standard new setup thread

this is the common new board thread. i'm currently riding a ride society from last season with last season's beta bindings.

although i'm a ride fan and absolutely LOVE the society, i was unimpressed wtih the beta bindings. particularly the straps sucked and getting out of them was an absolute nightmare.

i've been slowly tempted by last year's burton custom ics and triad est bindings. i've never ridden burton before out of principal--trying to give business to the little guys, but this board looks sick.

any opionions on this thing that you'd like to share? if not, what else would you recommend?

generally i'd like to purchase something from last year to save some money--i dont care about having 2010 gear. just looking to add to my quiver and get some bindings that are easier to get in and out of. don't even dare mention flow.
