Need Help Buying New Gear - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys,im new here, so im not exactly sure if this is the right place to put this question.But i got a couple of questions and was wondering if anyone could help me out. Im getting new gear this year and i need to choose some good stuff. I have a couple things in mind, but im not exactly sure, so i wanna take your guys opinion.

I ride mostly park, but i'll also ride down different trails with my friends

I have 3 boards in mind:
2010 Rome Machine
2010 Rome Graft
2010 Ride DH

I also have 2 bindings in mind:
Rome 390
Burton Cartel

And this is where im stuck, i dont know what to get so any help or opinions are appreciated.

i have a graft now its really nice. Its great for the park but then if you want to rip you can. Its super light and got great pop off jumps but still has enough weight to keep some speed. Kinda hard to go really fast but its a really fun board to ride i prefer the 09 style tho.

Yeah i no what you mean.. My first choice was the Graft, but someone said that my feet are too big for the board, and that i should get a wide board. But i still dont know

Im size 11.5 boot size

I got 390s they're great. Cartels are much stiffer than 390s though. 390s are between a mid and soft flex and I've never ridden cartels, but they have been said to be more on the stiff side of things.

yeah, i think im gonna get the 390's but im still not sure of the board.

Ya that might be a little big its still a fun board tho you might want to put boots on and see how it feels against the board

Yeah im gonna go to the store and ill c how it is. Cuz right now im ridin a Burton Blunt and its doing me fine.. so there shouldnt be a big difference.

ohh yeah my buddy has a blunt its pretty much the same. I got 390's on mine from last year on ebay and got them for 60 bucks! there a real nice model for the park but u can still cruise

yeah well c..If the Graft fits me fine, im goin for it, but if it doesnt the Machine will suit my needs.

i wear an 11.5 burton freestyle for my boot and i still ride a regular board (i haven't found the need to go mid-wide or even a wide) Although i ride with a pretty duck footed stance +15* in the front, -15* in the back.
