Hello all,
I am located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and I am on a search to find a 151 Bataleon Evil Twin. I work at the local shop and as far as I know not a single retail store in the surrounding area carries Bataleon products. This has proven to be true when I contacted several retailers to no avail. In an attempt to keep my search from dying I have done some browsing on the internet and have yet to find an online retailer with the size I am looking for. I was not too worried because I am very hesitant when buying products over the internet due to the fact that the majority of specialty shops are located in the United States and I do not feel like dealing with customs. So that leaves me with this question; Is there an online retailer in Canada that has the board I am looking for? I do not care if it is the 08/09 or 09/10 model, I just need some TBT in my park life. |

Sounds like FreerideBoardshop.com carries Bataleons...
My advice to you, especially since you work at a board shop is this. Talk to the owner of your shop and get in contact with the Canadian Bataleon rep. If you have no luck contacting the Canadian rep, call 877-255-4828 and ask for Joey. That's who I've been talking to and he's been great to me.... If you go the Joey route, tell him Mike from Denver sent ya. BATALEON CANADA RAMPION ENTERPRISES LTD. 6600 FRASERWOOD PLACE RICHMOND BC V6W 1J3 CANADA canada@bataleon.com All this is an attempt to get the Bataleon brand at your shop btw.... |

Oh and by the way the new new Bataleons just hit Skis, Snowboards, Wakeboards, and Apparel | evo which means that Canadian site should be seeing the new boards soon. And I wouldn't be surprised if the board you're looking for just isn't available in Canada as it's sold out. You will likely have to get a 2010, and hopefully you guys get the brand into you shop and you can get a deal ( =

Yea, I just had the same problem with never summer. I live in Hamilton, decided yesterday to just order it from daddies board shop, thanks to the sticky'd thread of online retailers I feel pretty confident with it arriving just fine. Duties will probably be a son of a bitch though.

I just checked Skis, Snowboards, Wakeboards, and Apparel | evo and Bataleon isn't on the list of items they cannot ship to Canada if that means anything to ya. I don't have a clue what you gotta deal with as far as customs go.

The problem with buying large items from the US is that once it crosses the boarder you have to pay rediculous amounts of tax. In the end, it would not be worth purchasing the board due to the fact that I'll be paying almost 1.5x the value of the board.
