Default 1st board question. Want a 5150 but not sure about WW

how much of a factor is Waist Width? My boot size is about 12/12.5 and my board size is about 154/155cm. If I were to get like an '09 shifter, would I feel the drag?

2nd that. 5150 is one of the crappiest board brands out there. The only thing worse is the snowboards you can buy at Walmart. The plastic ones.

let me guess, should I stick to looking through Burton? Is there any good boards for beginners with those measurements at a good price?

you could look at burton but you would be paying more unless you find last years gear on sale.

I would assume you found that board on ebay and the cheapest I could find it was ~$140 you would rather have this if you want a cheap beginner board Forum Recon Snowboard Reviews & Sale | SierraSnowboard.com I would suggest going for something a little more advanced but if you are worried about price then there ya go.

wow thanks! I never though I'd see anything sub 180. The sizing looks fine too for everything, thanks so much, it seems ridiculous at times to find a board with my WW measurements at a good price . . . or at not 163cm
