board questions (newbie)

Hi guys got some newbie questions (sorry if this is long)

I am looking to buy a board just wanting to get some opinions on what i am thinking of getting.

I have been thinking of getting a Santa Cruz all star or Morrow Radium. I pretty much want an all round board for Australian and Japanese conditions.

I am about 180 cm, 78 Kgs, size 9 feet so i was thinking of getting a board that is about 155cm- 160cm. Dose that seem about right?

Also i live in Australia and an looking bo buy my board online due the huge price differences.

Also what are your opinons on the ride auto bindings.

Thanks in Advance

It seems about right for your weight, but different boards have different flex in them, so you should check the manufacturer's recommendations for the rider weight on whichever board you plan to get.

Whats the snow like where are you going? Lots of powder or lots of ice?
