Hi!
I'm choosing allmountain-freestyle board with reverse camber. I'm 200-210 lbs and 13 boot size. In my choose-list are: 1. NS Legacy-R 161w 2. Nitro Team Gullwing 162w 3. LibTech Skunk Ape 161w (but it the expensive costs) 4. Anything else Help me choose good snowboard

There's also the Rossignol Angus 162MW with Amptek (their version of reverse camber) or the K2 Slayblade 163W which have both been well received for 2010 as all-mtn freestyle decks. The Rossignol may be the biggest bargain with a price of $399 USD. I think the Bataleon Goliath (161W) is a popular choice as well.
I've never been on any of those brands but everyone has their own preferences for brand as well as the anti-camber technology and everyone will tell you that they love their NS, Nitro, or Libtech. I don't think you could go wrong with any of your choices based on what people have said of their respective boards. Let us know what you get and your review of your board when you get a chance.

well, i've been on the legacy and the skunk ape. the legacy is pretty badass, will pretty much plow through anything. the skunk ape is a plank in my opinion. was never comfortable on it. I don't know much about the nitro, unfortunately.
as for size, 161-162 would be perfect for that style of board. no reason to go smaller since i'm guessing you won't be spending much time in the park. if you do hit the park, look at the NS revolver in a 159 Last edited by Cool_As_Cakes; 09-29-2009 at 10:35 AM. |
