My new gear: need feedback

Okay, so thanks to all of you who helped me reach a decision. I went out and totally splurged yesterday and I just wanted some feedback. It probably won't change the fact that I already bought them and will probably not return them, but maybe as some sort of future reference for myself and anyone else who's reading.

I pretty much paid full retail price for the '08 models:
Rome Agent 156 (I'm 5'8.5" 140 - 150lb, the thing has about half an inch on my chin)
Rome 390 (dark grey on black)
Burton Moto (black)

The type of ride I was looking for was maybe mountain/park 75%/25%, something decent in the park but wouldn't sink in powder either.

What do you all think? By the way the last time I bought gear was in '98 so plz no flak on the price

Only thing I may have done different would have been to go with the Anthem instead of the Agent but they're both great boards and you did very well

yeah the Anthem is more of the "All Mountain" board and the Agent is more of a park board that can kill the mountain... both are awesome

Anthem or Agent depends more on east or west coast mountains? If east, then the OP did fine with the Agent, if West, then yeah, the Anthem would have been a better choice.

Nice setup. I have the new Motos and they seem to be a great pair of boots. Also, fine choices in the binding/board department.

I agree... they're both sick boards though and unless you're really doing heavy pow riding the Agent will be absolutely spectacular on the groomers

Sweet, thanks for the feedback all. I'll probably be doing more of my boarding in the midwest, and on the rare occasion make it out to the west (planning a trip to breckenridge in Jan). I'm thinking midwest is probably closer to east than west? so maybe i didn't do half bad getting Agent either way anything is better than my previous Rossignol PoS.

Thanks again and I'll probably be posting some threads on my feedback of equipment once the season starts.
