Default Boot troubles...

I've always had problems with boots causing me pain in the front of my foot. It seems like no matter what boots I have I still get the pain. I've tried everything from custom orthotics to superfeet.

Is there anything I can do to stop the pain while riding? I have to stop like three times during each run because it hurts too much to even turn at times.

Is there any specific type of boot I should look into over other ones? I always try the boots on before I purchase them, but even if they feel great while walking around as soon as I hit the slopes the pain starts.

I'm going to try yet another pait of boots this season to see if it helps at all. I have fairly wide feet and large arches. Does anyone have any reccomendations as to what boots I should try on first?

EDIT
Pain is in the ball of my foot.

Where at on the front of your boot? Your toes? The ball of your feet? Have you been using the same bindings (maybe a binding problem)?

Right at the ball of my foot.

I don't know if the pain is in your toes but are your toenails in good shape? If you don't keep them pretty well trimmed, they could become ingrown, but that's pretty much a given.
Otherwise, I'd suggest seeing a podiatrist to get that checked out if you haven't already. It could be some sort of nerve pinching that you're unaware about.
EDIT: Just saw you said it's not in your toes, my bad.

None of the boots that I have had were too small.

And yes, I've tried adjusting the tightness. This isn't just a one or two time thing. It's been the same for the past five years, I just can't stand it any more.

It sounds like the symptoms of some sort of osteoarthritis, could this be a possibility?

Sounds like Planar Fascitus. Go see a specialist.

Nah. I never have any foot pains. The only time I do is when I'm riding.

I'd say it could be a pinched nerve due to the cramped boot or something of the nature. Have you seen anyone about it?
