looking for new gear

hey all, new member.

im new to the sport, my first time riding was last season and i went twice. never had so much fun and i was instantly addicted. i got the hang of my friend's board real quick and the second time i went boarding i was actually hitting some jumps. now im looking for my own gear and need some suggestions.

i want something of pretty good quality but not overly expensive. i was looking at boots, bindings, and board packages but i need some input from experienced people. looking to cap the purchase at around 5-600 bucks.

also, im 5'11" ish and wear 11 shoe. which length should i get?

more importantly we need your weight to tell you a good board length, not your height. i would also suggest when buying boots to go to a shop and try on as many pairs as possible to find one that fits your foot the best. you never want to order boots online without first trying them on to see what size fits you best.

at 170 you can get somewhere around a 153-55. if you see yourself getting into freestyle and park as you become a better rider then you might wanna lean towards the 153 area but if you just plan on freeriding and ripping the mtn more towards the 155.
