Wide board or not?

Hi, so I have size 11 boots (mens) and was wondering if i would need a wide board? my stance is around 23 inches apart and i like it 15 and 15 front and back foot (angles) i will either be getting a Ride DH or a Ride machete i am about 5'9" an weigh like 135 pounds. So, would i need a wide board?

Depending on your boots.... But most likely you do not need a wide with a size 11 boot.

If you wear DC boots or some sort of pointy boot you may want to bring your boots when you go to buy it and see what's up

You have big feet for your height/weight. My guess is you will be getting a fairly short board as well which in turn will have a narrower waist width.

It will heavily depend on your boots.

I would go with a mid-wide (about 256-260mm).
I have size 12 Ride boots (average sized boot) and ride a waist width of 258mm no problems (stance 15 front, 12 back).

I rode a 153 goliath last year with size 11 rome's without any problems. Just take whatever boots you are wearing and whatever bindings are using and attach them to the board you plan to buy to check if there would be any problems with toe drag.
