Good Deal?

Someone has offered me snowboard set-up for 425$, and I was just wondering if this is a good deal or if that is too much.
It's a relatively new technine jib board, also relatively new technine bindings, and pair of snowboarding pants. Doesn't come with boots, I already have my own.

Have you ever snowboarded before? If not, go rent first.

^agreed. You may not like the sport, in which case you would have wasted your money.

Which board and bindings are they? What year? What pants/waterproof rating? IMO, $425 seems steep.

the board and bindings alone would be $500-$550 when brand new and not on sale

My friend bought the limited edition gold jib and t9 street bindings in a package online for $350, and this is straight from the packaging. Used, I think you shouldn't have to pay so much.
