Hey BA ......how do you feel about bern??

You are kind of a dick but I value your opinion, was checking out a bern helmet last night don't know the model but it's last years with a fur-like insert....looked super warm and only 40.00 now wondering if the fur shit that "looked warm" means it really is warm....never rode with a helmet but promised myself I would this year.

I find it funny how you're calling him a dick and yet you are asking for his opinion?
Back on topic, I've never heard of Bern, so I can't help you there.

Have you not noticed.....

He is a dick, but he does have sound advice. I am also pretty sure he is quite proud of that too....it's part of his charm!

You might want to make sure it fits properly then worry about the warmth. Dont want a helmet that doesnt fit properly because it wont do much for you.

Done and done...tried it on before I did anything else...good fit...if I hadn't that would be kind of silly of me, don't you think?

you also may want to try pm'ing BA to get his opinion. With regards to Bern, their stuff is decent but you need to check on the specific model. Some of their models are protection certified and others aren't.

Bern's protection is just as fine as everybody else. They even have EPS models for people who take those little stickers too seriously.

Bern fits a bit small (check those size charts and take 1cm off; i.e. Bern L = K2 M). Warm as any other helmet, but the beanie-style liners aren't actually beanies.

THERE ARE SPECIFIC REASONS AS TO WHY I AM MORE LOCAL THAN YOU
