Split bananas on Gnu B-nice & NS Infinity!

I am completely split down the middle between getting a Never Summer Infinity-R and a Gnu B-Nice BTX. I've been going crazy comparing it side-by-side and they seem pretty much equal in quality, specs and purpose. Except the Infinity is $100 more- why is that? Can someone please give me some guidance here? Are there any major differences between these boards? Are there cons to either? Is one more park? I'm looking for an all-mountain freestyle board that's easy to handle. I want to start getting into park but will still be mostly riding groomers and back mountains.

For what you described the Never Summer is a better fit for you IMO. It is more expensive because you are not comparing apples to apples. The B-Nice (My GF has one) is GNU's price point board, 400 bux. Same as the mens CHB or Carbon Credit this year. The GNU B-Pro is the higher end womens model. They also make the B-Pro in C2 which is a copy of Never Summers Rocker/Camber. The C2 B-Pro is $540 and the Infinity-R is $450. Get the Never Summer!

Actually I was looking at the B-pro first but they only make down to 146. Infinity and B-Nice go down to 145. It's only 1 cm difference but 2 cm shorter than my last board. I was looking for 144/143 boards but alot of the "good" boards people mention are usually around 146/147. Kind of frustrating for light-weight short girls!

But it looks like I may go with Infinity if make really is better than the B-Nice.

I love Mervin boards and I had fun on my TRS BTX last season. That said, I'd choose NS RC tech > Mervin BTX. A better comparison would be a Lib C2 vs. NS RC.

16 Gnu Swallow Tail Carver . 16 NS West . 15 NS Snowtrooper BIA
16 Burton Genesis X . 15 Now Drive
16 Flow Talon . 14 Flow Hylite
