Phoenix Or Skate Banana - Snowboarding Forum

Hey, for the past 6 years I've been riding a little neversummer and a bit of some Lib-tech. But this season I'm contemplating between the Lib Phoenix and the Skate Banana. I think i wanna try somthing new ( MTX, and banana technology) but i don't know if I'll like it. I hear the Banana's kinda slow in some conditions. Thats why im thinking about staying with the stock Phoenix. Any help deciding will be appreciated. Thanks, Alex.

Have heard nothing but good about MTX boards. Banana tech is still new so there really isn't a whole lotta word on it yet.

I have a SkateBanana. Rode it last Monday on all man-made snow. It was super fast but the snow was pretty icy. The magne-traction definitely did its job keeping my edge dug in. Hopefully some more places will be opening in the next few weeks so I can get out there and ride it in a few different conditions.

anyone else in these forums have any experience with the banana??

i just got a dominant but that banana looks pretty effin nice..

I am going riding again tomorrow so I will let you know how it handles whatever weather we have goin on then as well.
