Hovercraft vs Derby

What are your thoughts for me to use in Japan?

I have 14/15 Hovercraft in 156, and thinking of getting Derby in 147. I'm not sure if this will be considered as an upgrade for me for tree riding.

I basically want something that can handle tight turns in trees with decent pop.

Maybe just me but.. quite a bit of work required for Hovercraft for tight turns.

I weigh around 165, is 147 right size for Derby if I decide on Derby.

Take a look at this thread I posted a couple months back, discusses this exact topic. Basically, yes, the derby will be better for tree riding. http://www.snowboardingforum.com/boa...-tree-pow.html
