$600 CAD when bought brand new isn't robbery, either.

Burton gets marked up in Canada over the US prices, K2 remains about the same.

If you can, hit up some demo days....If you cannot, then do some research (forums,reviews etc.). Narrow down your selection and buy something YOU believe is the right board for you and your style. Then thank me later.

The guy told me he'd do it for 200. But I'm not sure if this is a good board for park. How do I determine this when I go see it?

It's a soft entry-level board, so it'll be good for park.
