which snowboard???

Hi,
I'm Julia and I'm new here, signed up cause I'm planning to buy a snowboard, but there are so many!!
so I really really hope someone can give me some advice..
I'm a beginner/intermediate and just want an all-mountain board, which I can take to the pow as well..
so I was thinking of a Rome Vinyl 152 or a Nitro Fate 152..
anyone any experience with one of them? or just any advice? (A)
thnx!

Some suggestions. These are all directional twins with setback, perfect for all-mountain freeriding.

Bataleon Violenza
Roxy Envi BTX
Arbor Push
Never Summer Lotus-R

half day demo'd a 155 roxy envi btx...it was pretty damm fun, cut in and held edge on black steep hard pack, was like railing around in a small sports car, handled small jumps, bumps and groomers.

What kind of rider are you? Aggressive or timid? Will you be hitting the park?

The Rome Vinyl is a good choice. Also consider the K2 Luna and the Atomic Fallen Angel.

Bataleon Violenza is also a good recommendation.

If you want something that performs well in powder, consider looking at an alternative camber board. The Never Summer Infinity-R is a very popular rocker/camber snowboard on this forum.

Another poster suggested the Never Summer Lotus-R and the Arbor Push: great all-mountain boards, but be aware that they are both pretty stiff and aggressive freeride boards.

thnx!

I guess I'm more of the timid kind, so I'd better look at those then..
you reckon 151 is to short for me? I'd rather have a 153/154 but they seem to be harder to find in a not too expensive way..

How much do you weigh? It'll give everyone a better idea of what size of board you'll need.
