Ride machete or K2 Darkstar

I've been checking out the Ride Machete, the K2 Darkstar and the K2 Parkstar. I want a board that can ride all-mountain, handle deep carving and still do great in the park with jumps and rails. Which board would be best?

The Machete is a little stiffer in the middle and torsionally. It also has slimewalls.

I think the Parkstar has a little bit more pop but is not as torsionally stiff.

He asked about darkstar, not parkstar.

My buddy has the darkstar and loves it. He takes it all over with no problems so far. I was talking to a guy at the snow show and he was saying that the darkstar was one of the most fun boards he's ridden.

well the machete is a rocker board. so you're probably better off comparing it to the parkstar. i have the older darkstar and it's a great board. i can take it anywhere on the mountain. not sure how the machete's are compared to them but the dh's used to be the ones that were similar to the darkstars. the parkstar and darkstar will be different because of the rockered vs. cambered setup.

Thread jacks are frowned upon. Even so, we need to know what exactly you want to be riding to help at all.
