Default Heat molding eliminates heel lift?

I'm about to buy my first pair of boots. I've got pretty weird shaped feet, I'll still look for the best fitting boots but I'm on a budget so selection will be restricted. Just wondering if heat molding will get rid of the remaining heel lift?

Remaining heel lift? In new boots?

There shouldn't be any heel lift in new boots.

As liners pack out over time, you can experience varying degrees of heel lift, but not right outta the box.

Keep looking.

It'll make it worse. Downsize then heat mold.

Heat molding does not fill volume.
