Default Hovercraft Question

Found an incredible deal on 2015 Jones Hovercraft. Ordered the 164 but questioning if I'd be all that much better off with the 160. I'm 6'1 215 and spent the last few years riding a GNU CC 162 and last year been riding a Slash Brainstorm 160 which I know could be a bit small but is a hell of a lot of fun. The Brain storm is, and will be my go to but would like to have the Hovy to break out on softish groomer days and days when we actually do get powder on the east coast, and of course it's coming with me to Utah this year. I guess to get to the point, anyone with experience is the 160 really that much more maneuverable than the 64. I initially went 164 thinking it'd be better off on the fast steep freerideish shit that I plan to throw between the stashes, but I do plan to spend some decent time in the woods, but it'll be close to 50/50 when I do break it out. I guess I'm just really curious as to how noticeable the difference might be

The HC rides long so you probably would have been OK with the 160 but the 164 will do better in deep powder and should be a better match for your weight.

For reference I ride the 160 and I'm 5"10 175Lbs

I have the 164. You'll want to ride the board on the front inserts if you are going to be doing groomer laps on it. It is a lot of nose, otherwise. At one point, on a non-pow day, I did think I was going to snap the nose off riding through some rougher terrain off piste.
