Are these bindings & boots good for beginner stages?

Ok, so I got the following for a decent price and without thinking much. Now I actually wanna see whether these were an OK buy or whether something else would've worked better.

Bindings: 2009 Burton Freestyle

Boots: 2010 Burton Moto

Remember, I'm just starting out and will be on the mountain only for some time.

Was this a good buy? If not, what bindings and boots should I have gotten for entry level?

Thanks!!

You shouldn't just buy some boots you find on-line... you need to try them on for at least a few minutes to make sure they fit your feet... boots are what you should invest the most in...

I tried them on at the store. They were comfy. The brand seems reliable too. So I got them...
