no experience, but the drifter base on the sub-pop sounds similar to omatic or bataleon boards where the base angles up along both edges of the board as opposed to the jib-bevel on the artifact which only angles the bronze edge itself up slightly. also, nitro's gullwing camber is similar to never summer's rc and libtech's c2 which i've only read good things about - i'll b riding the nitro team gullwing this winter so i'm anxious to find out myself.

thanks dude but im confused on what your saying about the nitro base.....say Im looking at the board straight from the tail to the nose underneath. would the base be shaped like /-\ more? If you understand what I mean there, like the edges curved towards the snow. Cause im lookin for more of a edges off the snow, like a skateboard.

....if that makes sense

the drifter base is the opposite of what you're thinking. the toe side and heel side edges of the base of the board angle up very slightly so if you took a cross-section, the base would look concaved up, but only along the edges and i think only in about a couple of inches in deep from the edges - it's very subtle so it was very hard to tell how much of the base curls up - supposed to make it more catch-free on rails. if you check out the bataleon or omatic sites you can see a diagram of what their version of this base tech. looks like - drifter is similar.
