Default Help with picking a board

I am looking at these three. The Burton Bullet, Nitro Volume, Ride Fleetwood. I am 5'6", 180lbs, female, newish rider (2 yrs, 3-4 times a season) and i ride solely on hills in ski resorts/parks. Anyone that can tell me pros/cons about these boards? Im not very good at looking these things up. Thanks

Are you not considering women's boards?

Is this your first time buying a board?

There is a very nice selection of women's boards now, so you might want to check those out.

Should be more fun for you.

Burton Bullet sucks... Was my first board and it delamed at both ends badly...

I would look into either Never Summer or Bataleon for your board.

Probably going to need roughly a 153 or 155...

Would highly recommend you look into buying a girl board. I don't say this only because girl boards have strategic engineering geared for girls, but buying girl boards will keep companies making girl boards.

There's tons of girl boards out there and 1 will be perfect for you.

Have fun Becca!

if ur looking into womens board, k2 luna, burton lux and the NS infinity/lotus are names that pop up quite frequent on this forum.
A friend of mine was demo-ed a NS infinity last year and she loved it...
u can check out a review here too...

I know that the 09/10 burton lux have a softer flex then previous models so its more forgiving if u jus started riding but the est channel will kinda restrict u to Burton bindings only.

im sure there are more female boarders on here with better opinions.

Thank you all for your input. I was originally looking at the women's boards but two problems...one: not many have graphics that aren't ultra-princess-puke a rainbow-girl powery! And two: being that I am on the heavier side so most of the boards (according to specs anyway) won't support my weight. I am 185 and 5'6". so that's the main reason i have begun looking at dudes boards.

Have you read Shayboarder's reviews? She's a freerider who's about your size. I think she rides a Never Summer Lotus-r 157. I think she demos a lot of women's board in the mid-150's.
