Women's bindings, your thoughts.. - Snowboarding Forum

Hello all,
I'm on the hunt for some women's bindings to go with a k2 mix freestyle board. My friend who's planning on the riding the board is an intermediate rider and wants to pretty much get into just about every kind of terrain snowboarding has to offer including powder, kickers, and rails. In any case i'm looking to help her get some rockin' bindings and i was hoping for some suggestions. Ideally i'd like to get last year's models so they'll be a bit cheaper. Thanks for the help!

K2 virtue is gonna be exactly what she wants. Not too stiff, not too soft do everything binding. I have the 08-09's and i could not be happier they are so comfy, have great ratchets, and are all around awesome.

You cant really get burton anything, cause even though they dont say it- burton really is only made to go with burton stuff. I just noticed that from experience.

I would go with Rome. Rome makes some really really good stuff

Really Burtons only work on Burtons wow holy shit. WTF remove your head from your ass before you look at gear and then post about it. As long as it's not EST it will work on ANYTHING!

Since she wants a do everything binding the K2 Virtues are a solid choice or she could bump up to the K2 Auto Agogo's if she wanted to try out Auto Technology. Ride Bandita's would be another one to consider and if she's one of those women that has knee issues whether it's knocked in or bowed out the cant beds would be a good thing to consider. Union trilogy's would be another one for her to consider as well.

Oh look capslock I'm so scared. Your opinion is one of false information which shows a true lack of intelligence and understanding of gear, thus you give it to someone looking for information on gear and further spread your lack of understanding to someone else. Then they go out and do the same. It's a domino effect that ultimately shop people have to correct because people take the internet at face value right now. So next time you think you know something about gear sit down, google what you're about to post about, and then consider putting down real information.

FYI I'm a dick in person too and not too scared of being a dick to people offline too.

To the OP, my gf just put on '09 Burton Lexa bindings on her Forum Craft board. The Lexas are $99 at Sierra. Construction is really quality, she had no issues with pinch points with the comfy straps or any ratchet problems. They're medium flex and my gf definitely had no complaints about them.
