I went snowboarding last year and learned pretty quickly. Now I'm hooked!

I plan to do a season of whistler. Although I'm probably not going to be able to go really often, I'd still like a board just so that I have one!

I was looking at some clearnace complete setups at this local shop: BoardRoomShop.com - Skate, Snow, Wake, Surf :: Order Online or Call TollFree 1-800-316-7669

wondering if you guys could give me some opinions as to what would be best or where to shop, specifically in the Vancouver BC area.

My friend also offerend me his old setup for 175$ which includes boots, some flow carbon fibre base bindings and a really banged up board.

I was thinking of just buying the boots and bindings off him and get a decent board.
