Default New board help

Hey guys!

OK, so I haven't hit the mountain in several years. I am not in the position where I can frequent the park often again. The board I used to own was a Burton 164 that was really stiff. I wasn't a fan of it, and it got stolen -- thakn you!

Anyway to the point. I always felt that a shorter board would suit me better, but I never had the chance to try. Everything before was based on height, now I am a bit confused.

I am 6'3 190 lbs size 11 feet

I feel that maybe I should be riding a 158 ideally, but I am not sure. I am a natural skateboarder, wakeboarder, and surfboarding came easy. First day on the mountain I was riding rails, taking boxes. I love to just ride down the mountain (most of my friends are skiers) but I want to be able to take the park.

Right now I am looking at a Mayhem 158. Any suggestions, tips, or ideas?

Thanks for your help -- all the best

gS
