Board, bindings or boots... Which is most important?

Obviously You need all three, but if you had to pick only one to be premium quality, which would it be?

1. Boots
2. Board
3. Weather resistant clothing/goggles/helmet (Managed to fit 3 into 1)
4. Bindings

Boots will make or break a good day of snowboarding.

Boots boots boots boots.

The best board, bindings, and outerwear in the world doesn't mean shit if you can only do one run at a time because your feet are in so much pain.

+1 Boots

QFT. Boots are your number one priority. You're on them all day. Pressure points, cramps, heel lift, blisters, all ruin a good day on the hill (not to mention a $70 lift ticket)

What everyone else has been saying. The fitting of your boots is going to matter the most while riding.

The order for me would go like:
- Boots
- Bindings
- Board

You will be amazed how much better you are and your day is with awesome boots!

Boots could give a fuck about the rest of my gear.

ifresh21 10-29-2009 09:44 PM

Boots I have an uncomfortable pair/foot problems and can't even enjoy my bindings or board and don't get nearly as much enjoyment from the sport as I should nor am I as good as I imagine I could be. It's sad

I agree with Fluids choices...boots, bindings then board.

Same here. Your feet are probably the most important body part involved in snowboarding. If they are in pain, your day is shot. First read reviews and get a basis of what boots and/or bindings others have good experience with. Then go out to your local shop and try as many on as you can. Don't by them too big, they will pack out as time goes on.
