After a little bit of research I just bought a new Arbor Abacus, advertised as a powder board.
Arbor I ride powder and groomers to get to the powder, but no park or freestyle (I'm a cruiser -- nothing too fancy). Since I bought the board I've been reading more about the reverse camber movement and found out it's good in powder. It's probably not too late for me to return the Abacus to get a RC board. Given that I ride mostly on powder days, do you think I should just stick with what I bought or look into a RC board instead? . . Last edited by Toecutter; 10-31-2009 at 08:09 AM. |

The Abacus is a powder/freeride board. Sounds like you got the right board to me.
Don't get caught up in the RC fever. You don't NEED it. Folks have been fine with normal camber boards for years now and nobody's complained. It's up to you whether or not you want RC. Read up on it and decide. Do it soon is all, so you can return it if you decide RC is for you.
