Hallo, this is my fist post. It's been way too long since I've bought myself a new board. Narrowed it down to the Ride DH2 and Machete. leaning towards the Machete. I would really, really, appreciate any advice between the two. I unfortunately won't have the possibility to try either one out before I buy.
My riding style is freeriding, just going fast and hitting whats there, kinda old school streetskating like, love deep pow, tree runs, big ollies and drops, riding in the park is o.k. (I,m about 5,9 190lbs, with size 12feet.) Also; I had considered the skunk ape and the bataleon enemy. Thanks all!!!! |

Sounds like you'd be better off looking at the Ride TMS or Concept UL for what you're describing.

thanks for the reply! i was afraid of this answer. one of the main reasons i'm looking at the machete, is i so badly want to try the rocker. now you are all making it even harder. I've read positive things about the macehte and how it is in powder. But... yea somthing was kind of telling me that it's too park orinetaed. Another thing, the machete is considerably less expensive than the ones you mentioned, does this make an effect, say on the performace of the board, etc?
