For those riding Magna Traction boards...

Did it take you long to pick up riding the magna traction boards or was it comfortable right away. Also do they wash out at all?

With a regular cambered board and magne traction, it took me 1 maybe 2 runs max to get used to it.

As for your question on washing out, I never had any problems with my GNU CHB 09' in terms of washing out, gripped nicely, even on the ice.

Like any drastically new board, maybe a day or two to really get it and you not even notice any difference.

i've been riding for a long time and rode a btx board for the first time last year. Only time i noticed the mag was on icy traverses and skating around. where extra grip was a nice benifit. felt like a normal edge on most snow conditions. no real adjustment time, no washing out. Only negitive it is a bit grabby and catches tracks when skating flats. thats on a 165 so i imagine it is less of an issue with a shorter board with less edge.

SHRED HAPPENS

didn't really wash out on the BTX board. although skating at low speed was annoying at first 'cause it kept going every which way.
