Good "lower" end snowboard

Hello all. I am new to this forum and i have always loved (and rented) snowboarding. I would like to buy my own equipment. I have searched on google, read the FAQs and i'm very confused on what i should be looking at. I am 5'5" and about 127 lbs and am looking for more of a "freestyle" board. I would like a snowboard that will last me. I am willing to spend around $350, and with that said, I am not looking for the best equipment being the money i have available. Used would be fine also. I am sorry to ask such a "newb" question, but i really don't know what i am looking for exactly. What would you recommend? Any good cheaper brands? Or places to buy?
Thank you very much for your time.
-Brett

Capita Stairmaster is probably one of the best freestyle boards under $300

Are you looking to spend $350 on a full setup for just the board?

Here's a decent entry level setup for under $300:

Atomic Hatchet Snowboard 2009

Ride RX Snowboard Bindings 2009

$350 can score you a great lightly used board from the past 1-3 seasons. Scour the FS forums on here, your local Craigslist, GearTrade, and eBay.

16 Gnu Swallow Tail Carver . 16 NS West . 15 NS Snowtrooper BIA
16 Burton Genesis X . 15 Now Drive
16 Flow Talon . 14 Flow Hylite

Not saying Burton is the best or anything...but I just picked up a 09 Burton Dominant for $137 tax included at the LA ski dazzle show. May not be the best board, but something to mess around in the park with and not too worried about jacking it up at the price point i got it at. Not sure if this type of show comes to your area, but may be worth while to check it out if it does.
