Hi!
I just bought the Northwave Legend boots and plan to buy the K2 Cinch CTS bindings. I'm just not yet sure about the actual board, yet. Currently on my list (name, length, waist): Nitro Misfit (Wide) 155cm, 24.6cm (26.6cm wide) Nitro Team (Wide) 155cm, 24.6cm (26.4cm wide) Burton Blunt Wide 156cm, 25.8cm K2 Brigade Wide 155cm, 26.2cm K2 Format Wide 154cm, 26.2cm Me: Weight: 160 lbs Height: 5'9 ft Shoe size: 10.0 Skill level: Intermediate Preferred style: 50% all-mountain, 30% park, 15% rails, 5% powder => All Mountain / Freestyle board Currently I really like the Nitros, preferably the Misfit. But I am worried about the waist. For a shoe size of 10 several people said that I need at least 25.0cm, better 25.5cm. So the Nitros seem to be too small. The Nitro wide boards on the other hand are too wide... The Blunt seems to be okay, but actually I'd prefer the Nitros. What do you think? What waist do I need? Can you recommend any other AM/FS board for my size that are around $350? Thanks a lot! |

I would throw last year's GNU MTX(nonBTX) Rider's Choice 154.5 and a Capita Horrorscope FK onto that list, or the Sierrascope if they are still selling it for ~$350 with the coupon. Last year's DH or Society can be had for that price range as well

As for the Blunt. If you are an novice shredder looking to advance, the Blunt isn't for you. It's more of a beginner board.

And if you are a size 10 boot, you should be fine with regular width when it comes to your deck.
The Custom is a killer all-mountain stick that can hit jumps, pow, groomers, and hold it's own in the park, I'll agree with that. But only if you can find a deal on last years Cartels

True, some people have rigged the baseplates to fit some other bindings. However, the discs were not built to fit any other type bindings onto the board (which is bullshit by the way), they were made specifically only for non-EST Burton bindings (3d style)
