What's up, new to the forums..
I got last years Capita Horrorscope, and I was thinking of getting an all Mountain/pow board from Capita this year. I'm thinking "Indoor Survival" or "Black Death" or "Quiver Killer". The reason I'm thinking of going with another Capita is because they are cheap... Really any suggestions Capita or not as long as they are reasonably priced would be welcomed. I'd really love to get a Neversummer but they are kinda pricey |

SL-R is $30 more than Black Death ($499/$469 respectively). I really like both companies. NS doesn't outsource their production (although as far as outsourcing goes, Capita boards are made in the Elan factory in Europe so I guess that puts them higher up than some other companies from a production standpoint). That, and NS's 3-year warranty compared to Capita's 2-year pushed me towards picking up an Evo this year.
Whichever way you go I'm sure you'll be happy, good luck with your purchase. Last edited by Thadwood; 11-05-2009 at 01:22 AM. |

There's no reason not to get a Capita. From everything I've read and heard from people I know and people at shops, they're great solid boards. Just because they're a good value doesn't mean they're not great boards. Price doesn't mean everything. I haven't owned one yet, but I definitely would.

Do you want reverse camber? If yes, cross out Black Death and Quiver Killer.
Do you want a sintered base? If yes, cross out Quiver Killer. Personally, I'd go with Indoor Survival FK but that's just me. The price difference between an Indoor Survival and a EVO-R is $80 ($400 vs $480) |
