Unhappy Problem with board and bindings

Hello all,

I just bought a board (on ebay, only 40 euro's), this one : Image - TinyPic - Gratis foto's delen en afbeeldingen & video's hosten

Now, there aren't any holes for the bindings to be placed so i guess these still need to be drilled. There are 2 dots on the board where they should come. I simply have no idea how to do this, is it safe to do it myself or should I go to a local snowboardshop to do it for me?

Aswell, since I dont know alot about all this and i still don't have bindings yet, does every binding fit every board? or almost every binding? and does almost every boot fit in every binding then?

Any help is highly appreciated since I'm a total noob on this topic

Thanks
Dennis

This really isn't something you can do yourself. Snowboard inserts aren't just drilled holes to screw the binding in, they are metal sleeved holes that are tapped to recieve the binding bolts. If you try to drill it yourself, chances are you are going to drill right through the base of your board. If it were me, I'd try to return it or just cut your losses and hang it on the wall.

I think he was saying that we hope YOU are joking. The hanging the board on the wall bit is for real

Sorry to break it too you Dennis but you bought a wooden plank with no real value...

Get some hooks and hang it on the wall as art(the topsheet is kinda cool)...it has no real purpose being on the mountain.
