Not to my taste at all, but the specs are standard of a higher end coat. 10K waterproofing and 10k grams of breathability is good for most dryish conditions, same as my 686 Acc Syndicate.

I bought a DC jacket last year, I love the style.

DC Sniper Jacket - Men's from Backcountryoutlet.com

The thing is paper thin though. Pretty much all the same specs as the one you picked out so be prepared to layer that shit up

Dano! LOL You cannot wear that jacket. I bought the same one last year too, and we even ride the same mountains lol.

I love the jacket though. You're right that you need to layer a bit, but its crazy light, I dont even feel that I'm wearing a jacket. I was fine all last year, except one day where I didn't layer cus it wasn't bad out, but then I got stuck on a lift for about 2 years when it broke down. Then I started to get a bit cold.

As looks go, I think its awesome.

I use em with these pants.

That's too funny dude. Looks like the Edmonton shredders on this forum are all rocking DC this year. I'm a huge fan of the cuffs on the jacket that have the thumb holes in them to stay under the gloves. I found with that jacket last year a thermal top and a long sleeve shirt or hoody was the perfect layering for it. Unless it's one of those shity -26 icy Jasper days, then I also wear a fleece vest in the morning. I've got a pair of black Special Blend pants to go with it.

Yeah same here. Thermal underneath and I have a ridiculously warm hoodie, and even on those freezing jasper days I still sweat underneath. Its my toes.

Sorry to hijack this thread hah
