Help - which is front of snowboard?

Can someone take a look at the pics below and help me out? Just had it waxed and they took off and put back on the bindings. I've never really payed attention to how the bindings were set up before and i dont know which end is the front and back of the board. There is a thicker side and skinnier side...is thicker side the front? Board is a Burton Bullet. thanks

By thicker I will assume you mean wider. Wider end is the nose.

Thanks for clarifying. Everything i've been reading on the internet is saying that binding at the front of the board should have more space from the nose of the board to binding then the back of the board to the back binding. But it looks like this board may be a little different because the tail is definitely longer then the front.

If therer is set back (more space from one end to the binding) then the longer part will be the nose.

Well this is certainly intriguing.

Looking at the photo, it appears that the wider end is on the left, which would indicate that the left side is the nose.
However, the placement of the bindings looks like the right binding is set further back from the right end than the left binding is set back from the left end, indicating that the right side is the nose.

I can see your dilemma here.

It could be that the bindings are mounted toward the nose (inappropriately I would think).

You could also measure the distance from each tip to the start of the binding mounts. Unless it's a true twin, one gap will be wider. That's the nose.

I am NO EXPERT in any of this, but I am a good researcher. That looks like a 2002 Bullet. And from what I can tell, the nose is to the right, which is hard for us to fathom because it sure looks like it's narrower.

Look at that picture closely. There is a Burton symbol near the right side inserts. That Burton symbol would be upside down if the faded stripes on the board were the nose. But man, I look at it again and it's really hard to say!

Edit: It also looks like from that pic, they likely had the bindings mounted with right side being the nose. Look at the binding angle, assuming they were regular footed.

It quite clearly was a 2002 Bullet. Problem is that some of the 2002 Bullets appear to have the stripes on the nose and some on the tail:
2002 Burton Bullet

But I agree that the striped end is probably the tail: A) because of the Burton logo on the top sheet as you mentioned and B) because looking at the base, the Burton script should probably be towards the nose.
