Default which would be a better buy

Im a noobie college student that doesnt have much cash and was wondering which of these two set-up's would be better. Im 5'11, about 175 lbs and for boots i've got burton drivers size 10.5.

option 1- burton clash 158cm with mission bindings

option 2- k2 nemesis 158cm with tech9 bindings.

All advice is welcome, thanks everyone.

Why are you limiting yourself to these two boards?

I've been searching through craigslist and these two seem like the best in my price range.

Well, I'd go with the K2 personally. Check around on ebay, there are usually good deals on last years boards around this time of year. Everybody's selling their old board to get a new one.

Any recommendations? Which brands are higher quality? For some reason it seems that a lot of people on this forum do not like burton boards.

Never Summer, Lib Tech, Capita, GNU, Bataleon, and there are tons more, I just personally stay away from Burton because they're always more expensive for the same tech as other companies.
