My New Postermania Isnt Centered.....WTF - Snowboarding Forum

ok so i just got my postermania 147 and i slapped on my new 390s with it and i was butterin around and lookin down on it it just didnt feel right. the tail looked bigger than the nose....

so i took my bindings off, measured it, and BAM....it ain't effin centered.

On Rome's website it says for the 147 the DFLT stance should be 21.5", but mines only 21"...

Then i measured from the last holes to the tip on the nose and the tail, and my tail is about a half inch longer...true twin my ass!

Has this happened to anyone else? Will Rome replace this for me? I'm pissed!!!

Fluid had an issue with his Nitro Sub Pop having almost an identical issue. Fact is it happens...

If you bought the board new, you could always just send it in on warranty.

And ya it's a factory defect..... It's covered under warranty

yo but how does the board look in person in general? are the graphics as sick as they seem?

Yeah I called the shop I ordered it from and emailed Rome, I hope it gets replaced this board sold out quick...

Yeah man, the board is sick as hell. Go to the "Post You 2009 set-up" thread i already posted a pic of it before i realized the defect hahaha

If you really look at it, especialy with my bindings on it, you can notice the different nose/tail lengths...

i definitely can tell the un-centering... hope you get it replaced soon!

Every once in a while one slips through QC or some shit it happens. Had a few in my shop last year like this.
