Top of a box? - Snowboarding Forum

I made a snowboard box for my backyard, but I don't know what to put on top of it to make it slide. I definetly do not waNt to spend more then $40. Thanks for your help

Puckboard from arenas works well. Sometimes they will give you old stuff for free. I used crazy carpets last year and it worked really well. The things cost about 4 bucks each and you only need 1 or 2 of them. Just make sure you over lap them so that you don't catch an edge on the seam. The way I made mine overlap, you could only hit it from one direction.

And and old coke (or any pop) machines have Lexan tops on them. If you can find one in a scrap yard that stuff works. Kind of a rare find though.

Lexan, p-tex, Acryllic, Pvc, plexiglass. Theres a lot but their all expensive. Id say junkyard them

HDPE fuckin expensive tho, go to your rink and they will give you a piece of puck board if they have. if not free, for really cheap

they say dont use plexi but i did. not more than like $25 bucks at lowes. it has been working fine for me so far.
