new setup: help with new baord and bindings - Snowboarding Forum

ok so ive decided to get back into snowboarding this year, but all my gear is wayyy to small so im gettin some brand new stuff. i decided on the burton blunt cuz its in my price range and a solid park board. but i dont know what size i need. I'm 6'1 and 160lbs size 12 shoes (dont know my boot sixe yet but im going boot shopping tommorow)so if someone could translate that into a board size it would be much appreciated.

Also, i have no idea where to start with bindings so if anyone has some suggestions or a place to start it would also be much appreciated

The Blunt is going to be too small for you in terms of board width.

aw really. that sucks. well, any recommendations on wide boards?

Edit: the blunt 158 has added width to make it a mid-wide board will this work with my stats?

yea? its not too long? and is it enough extra width?

btw since you seem to be the only person who can help me out do u know anything about bindings? i was looking at rome 390's and flux titan's i've seen the 390's mentioned a couple times and i just thought the flux bindings looked nice haha.

im looking at rome bindings. are targa's worth the extra money... im not paying for all of this so i can afford to go a little crazy since this is what ill be riding for a few seasons for sure.
