Most board thefts are crimes of opportunity. If it is unlocked and easy to grab.....

Lock your board, and in an area where you can easily keep an eye on it.

Shit people everywhere still use chains that could tow a car out on their wallets, lol. Even then if you don't have a hardened steel chain, it will be easily snapped with bolt cutters.

yeah if someone really wanted it that bad, but with lots of people around (most resorts) it would take someone real ballsie to try to snap a chain infront of everyone with boltcutters.

I almost had my board stolen.i was goin to the bathroom and when i walked out i saw some im guessing 12 year old kid walking to the lift with it lets just say he will never come to that resort again or touch anyone elses board i carry a small bike lock with me now or i bring it is side when ever possible

i was at mountain creek w/ my bf standing next to the lift on south peek. We watched two kids pull a truck next to th lodge and grab boards off the rack, throw them into the truck and drive away. Another time we were at the creek when a group of kids said we stole some boards, security had to search our freakin cars.
