I REALLY want the oakley splices and i love the white frame with fire iridium lenses. Does anyone have fire iridium lenses? They look soooo sick but im afraid they might be too dark. I was planning on getting a clear lens for night but i want to know how dark the fire lenses are. Thanks in advance

The Fire Iridiums are listed as 16%VLT. Only 16% of the light coming at you gets through to your eyes. On a bright day they would be great but any sort of overcast or dusk conditions I wouldn't want them. I would tend to stick to something in the 30% range (Emerald Iridium) for general use and their Yellow Iridiums look good for night time.
Haven't personally tried any Oakleys though. |

Another plug for pink iridium, I have VZ Feenoms in gold chrome for daytime, but once it starts getting dark, pink iridium is perfect for me. Pink iridium is fine for an any-time lens as well, provided you don't have crazy ridiculous glare days. Plus let's be honest fellas, it doesn't get much manlier than pink.

Have you tried on the Splice's? I went to my local Oakley store and tried a pair on, I don't think that they are for smaller faces. I haven't checked to see what they are listed for but when I tried them on, I practically had no field of vision. I too love the way they look, and almost bought a pair. Until I tried them on that is.
