i have them, they look even better in person, they arent extremely dark, the light transmission is 25%, my old black iridium oakley lenses were darker at 15% which were kinda tough on very gray or snowy days, the blue solex is good for sunny to partly cloudy, i still keep my oakley e-frame persimmon for snowy/darker situations

The solex mirroring is really good. Its almost like a 75% mirroring. Some angles you get no reflection, others you get tons. I had the red solex and loved them.
