New bindings for NS Premier
Just bought a NS Premier. This is my first quality board, I have been riding a cheap Burton board/binding setup the last several years. Any recs for bindings? I am obviously not going to be riding much park (if any) with this board, and am looking for the most comfy bindings, something that is medium in stiffness. Flows seem to be polarizing, but the lack of apparent pressure points definitely has some appeal. Romes and Unions are also at the top of my list. I like the flexibility of putting the toe strap over the tips of my toes rather than on top of them - I assume this can be done with Romes or Unions?
I have a size 12 boot (2009 Vans) so I might get a new pair with a smaller footprint to reduce toe overhang. The Vans are nice, but I seem to get quite a bit of strain in my back foot very quick if cruising on a mellow hill. I am guessing a boot of medium stiffness would be most comfortable for me. Any ideas for boot/binding combo? Price limit for both is $500-$600.
