yup, so it's time for me to get a new set-up.
I've been looking into the rome machine but am wondering if there's any more boards anyone can suggest for me being a 50/50 park/freerider, with size 12booties and board on the icey east. also looking for boot and binding suggestions too. help me out guys! |

Ok, well I'm a 13 boot... I ride the Rome Flag but it's a bit more freeride than freestyle oriented. Rather than the Machine, I'd say check the Slash it's the wider version of the Agent. Another I'd suggest is the GNU 11up w or w/out MTX

i prob. wouldn't go with the flag, i need something more parkesque than that.
i was considering the slash too but the 08 graphic is just looks so stupid. i know it's not about looks but i need something i'll be happy looking at and esp. putting good money into and i'd rather stay away from gnu, my board now is a rider's choice and i'm looking to try out some other companies. Check out the Manual then. It is the wide version of the Crail which sound like something that fits into the category you are looking for. The Slash has more of a twin shape to it, and the manual is a little more all mountain freeride, so it just depends on what you want. And what is wrong with the graphic on the Slash.

well i suppose i'll have to overcome my fear of having a board not so appealing to my eyes...
but for now are there anymore suggestions for a good 50/50 park/freeride board?! i'm really leaning towards either the slash or machine right now it seems like rome is pretty reputable. but i'm open to hear what people have to say!! help me out. |
