Never Summer is a great company that makes solid boards. Any of their boards with medium flex and original rocker camber (rather than the ripsaw profile) would be a good choice.
My recommendation would be the Proto HD because it will do it all pretty well including park, powder and switch. Once you have a better sense of what you like ride you can choose something more specialized if you wish or choose to step up to the ripsaw profile if you want something a bit more aggressive. In the meantime though, there nothing that the Proto HD won't do pretty well.
