Bcommended boards

hi guys,

I just recently took up snowboarding on my last trip to Queenstown in New Zealand. Liked it so much i have booked for park city UT In feb.

Im looking at a few differenet boards at the moment , im not into doing any park riding at this point in time, more freestyle/all mountain riding.

Though i do want a board in which i can do jumps/rail etc later on as my skill gets a bit better.

I have a few boards in which i can get my hands on 2nd hand and new for a decent price.

At the moment im looking at getting a 09 Burton Jeremy Jones in a 156. will this board handle the all round puprose use of mountain riding ? or will it be a handful in powder and all mountain riding?.

Another board was also the Nitro Misfit 155 08 and also a ROME SDS 156.

Im leaning more towards the Jeremy Jones cause i can get it for a rediculous cheap price compared to the other boards. Being new i dont want to get the wrong board for my needs.

Any of those boards should be fine as long as your not too heavy or big for those boards.
You really contradicting your self tho, you dont want to ride park but want a board that is good for jumps and rails? Freestyle is park riding as in jumps and rails. Freeride is more like powder and trees.
But you shouldent have any problems taking a freeride boards into the park or riding a freestyle board in the pow. The main differances are freestyle boards tend to be less stiff and free ride boards are centered a little bit back and sometimes have a wider nose than tail.
Anyway good luck with your board choice.
