Base Separation? - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone has seen anything like this..

The base is actually starting to separate where the "F" is meeting the nose of the board. The pics above show the separation and the pic below shows the area of the board this is occuring at.

This is happening on my board and I contacted backcountry and Im first going to talk to forum to see what theyll do and if that doesnt work out backcountry is going to replace the board...great customer service.

A side shot may be a little more helpful in showing the separation as I can't really see the issue with a top and bottom shot. Anyhow, like you said, Backcountry has a 100% return policy, so if Forum doesn't take care of you for the defect, just send it back to Backcountry.

This is on the bottom of the board. Just to clear up any confusion

Does anyone have any input on this? im trying to decide whether its worth the high shipping costs or if i can make it one more season. I plan on a buying a board this summer. Thanks for the help

its worth the shipping costs, that board is fucked, any separation between the layers of a snowboard kinda ruin it.

I really cannot see anything in those pictures. However, the description would indicate that you do need to get the board fixed or start saving for a new deck. It really doesn't get much worse than that.

yeah people have been saying they cant get to the right pics. But yea i think im going to send it in..hopefully i get it back soon. this weekend is actually supposed to be cold
